George is the President and Co-Founder of Marafatsos Construction. With over 50 years of best business practices and dedication to his work, George brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the community and industry. 

George brings practical solutions to some of the most challenging projects and has gained loyal and genuine relationships with his clients. He believes in leading by example and is often found in the trenches of his job sites showing the appropriate techniques to complete the job at the highest standards. 

George has been an involved business leader and loyal member of the community for over five decades. He had the distinguished honor of being recognized by the 45th President of the United States as an outstanding leader with great contributions to the United States. He sits on the board of several non-profit organizations and has served as Chairman of the Hellenic Foundation in Bethesda, Maryland, and as the Supreme President to the Laconian Society for all of the United States and Canada. George has served several terms on the parish council at the Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Olney, Maryland. 

George earned his Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Economics from the University of Maryland.
